Who is Rev. Dr. Catherine Gayle? 

                   

Reverend Dr. Catherine Regina Gayle is a native of Savannah, GA. She attended Richard Arnold High School and the Upward Bound Program at Savannah State College now Savannah State University.  Dr. Gayle obtained a Bachelor, Masters and Doctorate degrees Tuskegee Institute now Tuskegee University, Florida State and Clark -Atlanta Universities-respectively. A Clinical Social Worker Licensed by the State of Georgia; Dr. Gayle has provided social services in various areas of the Social Work arena and is a Masters Level Addiction Counselor and also a Licensed and Ordain Minister.

In the academy, considered as an academician; for approximately thirty years, Dr. Gayle has served as an Instructor, Assistant Professor and Director of Social Work at Voorhees, College, Talladega College, Miles College, West Georgia Technical Colleges and Tuskegee University, respectively. Presently, tenured as a Professor, she chairs the Department of Social Work at Savannah State University. An author who wrote and self -published a non-fiction book entitled, “I DID NOT ASK FOR THIS: A CANDID DISCUSSION ON SEXUAL ASSAULT. Dr. Gayle is a member of various organizations including Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Inc. Her spiritual roots are entrenched in her love of God and her family notably: her parents- Theresa Gayle and the late Edward Gayle Jr. along with her Grandmother- Catherine Martha Singleton and her siblings (Carl, Eric, Jacquelyn and Daren).  Spiritually trained by the Reverend Matthew Southall Brown- Pastor Emeritus of the St. John Baptist Church, she matured from the Cradle Roll to the New Life Women’s Ministry founded by Reverend Marian Sheffield and Minister Pauline Gordon.  Years later, Dr. Gayle became a member of the Gathering of Champions Church International in Marietta, Georgia where she was licensed and ordained by Bishop Dr. Brian Keith Hodges, Sr.

After moving to Tuskegee, Alabama, Dr. Gayle served as an Associate Pastor under the tutelage of Senior Pastor –Reverend Kenneth Jones at the Bethel Missionary Baptist Church in Tuskegee, Alabama. Feeling the call to return to her place of origin, Dr. Gayle return to Savannah, Georgia; where she serves on the ministerial staff of the St. John Baptist Church, ”the Mighty Fortress’’ under the tutelage of Reverend Dr. George P. Lee III. She is also the Founder of Ambassadors for Christ Over the Earth Inc. (ACE ENTERPRISES).  This is a faith-based initiative that provides Individual, Family and Group Counseling, workshops on Anger Management, Conflict Resolution, Domestic Violence, Gender Specific Topics, Divorce and Modules on Recovery.  Dr. Gayle executes workshops via global venues. Presently, Dr. Gayle has a weekly broadcast on radio station WHNL 94.9 FM –Hinesville, Georgia entitled, “STEPPING OUT ON FAITH’’.

Dr. Gayle has an interesting career; she has served as Board member, Vice-President and now President of Baccalaureate Program Directors (BPD) and  previously served as a Commissioner on Accreditation for the Council on Social Work Education. Currently, she serves on the National Association of Deans and Directors of social work board. Selected as a Fulbright-Hays Scholar, Dr. Gayle traveled to Accra, Ghana for a 30-day educational research project where she conducted research on Domestic Violence including a comparative analysis of the services offered in America and Ghana. She has also visited the continent of Africa on four separate occasions that included Nairobi, Kenya, South Africa, Ghana and the Burkina Faso, all of which included opportunities to minister to the people of God. Dr. Gayle is a maven for change and believes that her mission in life is to serve as an Ambassador for Christ.

What is “ACE ENTERPRISES”?

ACE ENTERPRISES houses Ambassadors for Christ in the Earth and a Maven for Change Consulting and Counseling services. Formally organized in 2008 in Marietta, Georgia, ACE Enterprises provides a network of services designed to address the major societal issues that affect all genres of individuals during their life cycle. We employ counseling and consulting principles as well as image builders to affect change in the lives of others. Because we are a spiritual based organization, we may also include prayer as a part of our methodology in serving our clients.
